He is able to see 'monster power' or Aether in a person and where it's focal points are. As an example, when he looks at a vampire in canon, he can see their power focused around their mouth with small bits trickling to other places while someone like John Doe would appear to him as a blinding Orange/Gold light.
He also has his 'Universe reads for filth' ability, so if you would like him to notice something your character is insecure about(like disliking their ears for being too small or thinking they have tiny little hands?) please leave that here as well.
